I feel so fortunate to have discovered yoga at a young age. As a child, I spent hours looking at Iyengar books, trying to imitate the postures that were described. I went to my first yoga class at age 12, and my love has only grown since then. The love of learning and quest for knowledge brought me to Montreal where I earned degrees in both philosophy and music, as well as doing my first yoga teacher training here at AYM.
Yoga, and music, has helped ground me in times of chaos and stress, and has given me a sense of community and care that we all so desperately need.

In my classes, I strive to share this feeling, making sure that the practice is accessible to all, regardless of body or level of experience. I invite students to take what they are learning off the mat and into the world. Currently, I teach Yoga for Beginners, Yoga for TBI (through the organization LoveYourBrain), Yoga for anxiety and depression as well as Yoga for Musicians. I also have experience working with children of all ages.
In all my classes, breath is always a focus.
“Yoga allows you to find an inner peace that is not ruffled and riled by the endless stresses and struggles of life.”
