Service Description

This four-week meditation series invites you to deepen your practice by building upon the basic principles of mindfulness. This experiential workshop series is designed to explore the essence of mindfulness meditation and its safe application in daily life. The program is divided into four progressive sessions: Session 1: Foundations of Mindfulness and Vipassana in Pairs. We will focus on the technique of Vipassana, or "insight," which involves observing thoughts and emotions as they are, without judgment. This session specifically explores deepest emotions and sensations through work in pairs. Session 2: Mindfulness in Communication. A crucial skill for clearly expressing needs and practicing nonviolent communication. This session cultivates the presence needed to respond to situations based on reality rather than preconceived worries. Session 3: Mindfulness of Emotions and Trauma. This session is dedicated to understanding the suffering associated with trauma. We will explore cultivating a "wise heart" to manage difficult emotions with patience and acceptance. Session 4: Gratitude and Limiting Beliefs. The final session addresses cultivating a heart overflowing with gratitude and happiness. We will also examine the mind and how to work with limiting beliefs that constrain our potential. Registration and Pricing: Full Series (4 weeks): $75 plus tax. Seniors, and students: $65 plus tax. Drop-in rate: $25 (subject to minimum registration requirements). Participants are requested to attend all four classes to support the progressive nature of the curriculum.
