Jaime

Jaime has been teaching yoga and Pilates since 2004 and has, somehow, made a career out of it.  She’s particularly interested in movement education as a way of managing pain and improving quality of life.  Her approach is a mixed bag of nuts drawing from a lot of different movement disciplines and sources, including but not limited to: Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, vinyasa krama yoga, Classical and contemporary Pilates, Feldenkrais, Alexander technique, various somatic movement techniques, a bunch of other weird movement stuff and a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology.  Her yoga classes are generally pretty straight forward with a focus on accessible but challenging yoga practice for every body.  She views yoga as a way of moving through life with a bit more ease, strength and grace not as a way of attaining postures or perfection.
