During this workshop, we will use awareness techniques to discover what prevents you from making meditation a habit. When you acknowledge where you are, you can plan the steps towards where you want to be. We will explore a few types of meditation and reflect on their benefits, touching on different types of meditation such as Mindfulness, Transcendental, Guided, Vipassana, and Metta, By the end of the workshop, you will have set goals, integrated what you have learned, and created a plan to add meditation to your daily routine. Laura's beginner's meditation classes explore different meditation techniques so you can learn more about what works for you and what fits into your schedule. The goal is to create a meditation practice at home that inspires you to be more present and aware. Laura is a Birth Doula, Bioneuroemotion Practitioner and Meditation Teacher who excels at supporting pregnant women and beginner meditators. She has done beginner meditation and mindfulness classes for both toddlers and parents as well as teaching prenatal techniques to pregnant moms as a way to promote and enhance child development. Her classes are in ASL, English and Spanish!
