Tuesday Night Meditation Sit with Allison Ulan

Join Allison on Tuesday evenings for Vipassana meditation sessions in the Theravada tradition. This meditation form is a perfect compliment to asana yoga practice because it introduces students to the inner limbs of Yoga (sensory gathering, concentration, contemplation, insight work and samadhi.) These meditation techniques reduce stress and focus the mind in the present moment for optimal living.
Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Micheal Bridge-Dickson, Level 1 and 2 are available this July.

Investment: $10 per course or by donation.

Join the directors of AYM for this month long 200 hour intensive to study and practice the ancient techniques of Yoga in the Krishnamacharya traditions complimented by the practices of Ayurveda, Bodywork therapies, Anatomy & Physiology, Meditation and East/West Philosophy. Daryl-Lynn Ross, Micheal Bridge-Dickson and Joanna Abbat will be guest teachers for this program.
If students have the availability, they are welcome to continue in the apprenticeship section of the course which involves – assisting classes, mentorship with Jessie, Eugene and Allison and advanced courses at AYM. The second half of the course is a strong compliment to the month long intensive. It is highly recommended for serious yoga students/teachers to be part of the apprenticeship training and the apprenticeship program is recognized as an advanced training. All trainings at AYM are recognized and certified through The Yoga Alliance of North America.
To secure your place in the course, there is a $200 deposit needed to be sent with your application. When your application is accepted, we will then deposit your deposit.
Course fees:
$2,400 Advanced payment deadline is Monday April 5th, 2011. Tuition is $2,750 after April 5th and needs to be paid in total by May 21st, 2011. Tuition fees include taxes and manual fees. Restorative yoga is the practice of long-held, supported poses intended to soothe and strengthen the nervous system, and settle the breath, which leads to greater balance of physiological functions, reduces stress, and calms the mind.
