Elizabeth Emberly
It was while attending Concordia University's contemporary dance program that Elizabeth first discovered the world of Ashtanga Yoga. The form naturally complemented her pursuits of dance and choreography, and upon graduation, she began a teacher training with Allison Ulan, Mark Darby and Hart Lazer. For Elizabeth, dance and yoga do not exist outside of one another, and combined, have enriched her life both physically and spiritually. Her belief is that we begin the journey into the soul through the body, and she has dedicated her life to deepening this exploration and offering this knowledge to others. She continues to dance nationally and internationally, and is currently working with Montreal choreographers Stéphane Gladyszewski and Pamela Newell.
